Role Overview :
The Clinical Trainer will be responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating clinical training programs for nursing staff in alignment with NABH standards and hospital protocols. The role requires hands-on training expertise, curriculum development skills, and the ability to drive continuous learning to enhance clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and deliver structured training programs for nursing staff, covering clinical protocols, bedside care, and patient safety practices.
- Conduct skill-building sessions, workshops, and on-the-job training.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, hospital SOPs, and quality frameworks.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify training needs and gaps.
- Prepare training content, manuals, digital modules, and assessment tools.
- Track and report training outcomes, ensuring measurable improvements in nursing competencies.
- Mentor and guide junior nurses in clinical practice.
- Stay updated with best practices in nursing education and clinical protocols.
Educational Qualification :
Mandatory : B.Sc. Nursing (4-year program) from a Tier-2 Nursing College.Experience Required :
Minimum 7+ years of nursing experience.At least 3 years in a training-focused role (Nurse Educator / Clinical Trainer / Training In-Charge).Prior experience in a tertiary care hospital (150+ beds) such as Apollo, Fortis, Max, Medanta, Narayana Health, Manipal Hospitals, or equivalent NABH-accredited institutions.Preferred Attributes :
Strong knowledge of clinical protocols, NABH standards, and patient care.Demonstrated expertise in creating and executing training programs.Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.Proficiency in using digital tools for training, assessments, and reporting.Ability to handle diverse groups of nurses and foster continuous learningShow more
