Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate closely with sales, technical teams, and clients to gather and analyze business requirements for new opportunities.
  • Conduct detailed requirement analysis and translate client needs into functional and technical specifications.
  • Develop clear and compelling business cases, proposals, and solution presentations to support the sales process.
  • Assist in the preparation of Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), and other presales documentation.
  • Work with solution architects and technical leads to design tailored solutions that meet client business objectives.
  • Perform gap analysis and feasibility studies to ensure alignment between client expectations and product / service capabilities.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to help position our offerings effectively.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and demonstrations with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Support contract negotiations by providing clarity on solution scope and deliverables.
  • Act as a liaison between sales, delivery, and client teams during the proposal and onboarding phases.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to provide strategic insights.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-7 years of experience in a presales business analyst role or similar capacity.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, requirement gathering, and documentation.
  • Proven experience in presales activities, including proposal development and solution design.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage with clients, understand their pain points, and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, sales processes, and project management methodologies.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Domain knowledge relevant to the industry (e.g., IT, software, finance, healthcare) is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with enterprise software solutions (ERP, CRM, Cloud, SaaS).
  • Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Exposure to technical environments or software development life cycle (SDLC).
