Role Summary

The Senior Design Architect will play a pivotal role in leading design projects from concept to completion. This position requires a high level of design expertise, technical understanding, and project coordination skills. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the firm’s design philosophy and standards are consistently maintained while delivering projects within defined timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design process from concept through detailed design and execution stages.

Develop and review design proposals, presentations, and working drawings.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Supervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring adherence to quality and design objectives.

Participate in design reviews and client presentations.

Ensure design intent is maintained through all project stages, including construction.

Stay informed on emerging design trends, materials, and sustainable building practices.

Support the principals in strategic design direction and project leadership.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.

8–10 years of professional experience with strong exposure to design and execution.

Proven ability to lead and manage design teams and coordinate multidisciplinary inputs.

Strong design sensibility and ability to translate conceptual ideas into buildable solutions.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

In-depth knowledge of building systems, materials, and construction detailing.
