Founding Engineer

Job description4+ years of experience building high-scale, low-latency distributed systems. Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and concurrency. Hands-on proficiency in Java or Golang. Strong familiarity with microservices architecture, APIs, messaging, and async design. Experience deploying and maintaining services on AWS, GCP, or Azure. Prior exposure to B2B tech or high-growth startup environments. Familiarity with AI / ML pipelines & agentic systems will be a plus. High agency : proactive, self-driven, and comfortable in fast-moving, ambiguous environments. Desire to build first, lead next - hands-on now, growing into technical leadership. Ownership from day one - build foundational systems for a frontier AI x Finance platform. High growth track in a high impact role that shapes into engineering leadership as we scale. Direct collaboration with a world-class team & marquee customers across geographies Significant equity and long-term upside.

Responsibilities
- Build and own core systems end-to-end - design, implement, deploy, and scale high-performance, concurrent, and fault-tolerant microservices.
- Work across the stack : backend, frontend, and cloud (AWS / GCP / Azure) with full DevOps ownership.
- Translate product and risk-modeling requirements into robust, production-ready software.
- Ensure performance, observability, and reliability through strong engineering practices.
- Establish engineering standards and mentor future hires as we grow.
