Freelance Senior QA Engineer (Digital Commerce Projects)

Our client, a British footwear and clothing brand is looking to engage with Senior Quality Assurance Engineer.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the QA lifecycle for digital commerce initiatives , developing and executing detailed test plans and test cases for platforms such as SAP Hybris Commerce, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and similar systems.
• Perform end-to-end manual and automated testing to validate functionality, performance, usability, and security across web and mobile commerce experiences.
• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites using tools and frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and BrowserStack to support continuous testing and faster release cycles.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams —developers, UX / UI designers, product managers, business analysts, and global stakeholders—to ensure high-quality deliverables and timely defect resolution.
• Identify, document, prioritise, and track defects , ensuring clear communication with engineering teams and driving quality standards throughout the development process.
• Drive QA process improvements , leveraging data insights, optimising test coverage, enhancing automation maturity, and contributing to a culture of agility, innovation, and customer-centric digital commerce delivery.
