What is this role, really?

• At GrowthX, the Creative Studio is working to build a media house. We deeply believe in the role of content to build an audience, and are suckers for the nuances of delivering it.
• We’re looking for a bar-raiser Video Editor to join us. You are knowledgeable yet open to new ideas, and the thought of a messy Premiere project enrages you. We push the boundaries every day and are looking for someone who wants to do the same.
• Our ideal candidate above all else, will need to be adaptable and thrive under pressure. If a candidate wants to exceed our expectations, they will obsess over marrying their knowledge and skill set into our culture and content formats.
• The Video Editor will work primarily on building out the longform content engine. This will involve working on assets like podcasts & interview-styled formats.
• The Video Editor is key to bringing big ideas to life. They are internet savants, storytellers, scientists, and conduits for all things trending. While they are creatively inspired by their surroundings, they must also have a unique ability to understand the business impact content has.
• Our ideal candidate for this role will have a duality to their personality. They will be limitless in idea generation and also need to be able to work within our proven video formats. This position will have a huge learning curve, creating content watched by the top 1% leaders, founders, investors & operators from the startup ecosystem.

This role is for you, if (Qualifications & Req) : 1. You're a proven builder who owns the full charter. You love taking an idea from 0 to 1. You have a track record of owning the entire product lifecycle—from initial research and creation to a successful GTM launch. You've likely honed this skill for at least 3 years in a modern, internet-first company, and your elegant project management keeps everything on track. 2. You're a gifted storyteller who builds transformation products. You have a special talent for making complicated things feel simple, and you know that great documentation is a key part of the story. You don't just share information; you build learning experiences that change the way people think and help them achieve their goals. 3. You're an AI insider with deep curiosity. Your obsession with the AI space is matched by your skill in conducting deep user, product, and market research. You don't just follow trends; you understand the 'why' behind them and can translate raw insights into a clear point of view and a concrete plan. 4. You're an owner with a startup mentality. The prospect of joining a small, fast-moving team energizes you. You thrive in ambiguity and want ownership. Accountability doesn't scare you; it motivates you.
