Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatment and care plans.
- Collaborate with doctors, allied health professionals and other team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments safely while monitoring patient progress and responses.
- Support health promotion initiatives and contribute to the prevention of illness through patient and community education.
- Offer guidance and information to patients and their families to help them understand treatment options and care plans.
- Supervise and mentor Enrolled Nurses and other care staff to maintain high standards of care.

Essential Criteria
Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in nursing or a related fieldCurrent registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with AHPRA.Demonstrated leadership ability within a diverse team environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Commitment to quality improvement and continuous professional development.Current satisfactory National Police Check.Computer literacy or willingness to learn.Highly Desirable
Experience in residential aged care settings.Knowledge and experience in geriatric, dementia, palliative, wound, or continence care.Understanding of contemporary aged care practices and legislative requirements.Familiarity with the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI).Post-graduate qualifications in any of the above specialisations.How to Apply
