Job description

We are looking for a Manager- Automation & AI Innovation to lead automation and AI initiatives across our PreMedia and Digital Imaging functions. The role will define and execute the technology roadmap, drive workflow automation, and champion Generative AI solutions that deliver smarter, faster, and more efficient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have around 5 years of relevant experience in technology- led automation or AI within digital, creative, or Premedia environments, with a passion for innovation and measurable impact.

Location : Manipal

Budget - Up-to 16LPA

Purpose :

Lead the technology vision for automation and AI within PreMedia and Digital Imaging functions — driving smarter workflows, faster delivery, and measurable efficiency gains.

Technology Vision & Strategy

Define and maintain a clear automation roadmap aligned with business goals.
Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, platforms, and AI tools that enhance operational efficiency.
Partner with internal teams and technology vendors to ensure scalable, future-ready solutions.

Automation Execution & Performance

Lead development and deployment of automation solutions — including scripting, workflow tools, and process optimisation.

Deliver measurable outcomes such as a 25% improvement in operational efficiency and reduced turnaround times.

Monitor key performance metrics to ensure sustained productivity and cost benefits.

AI-Driven Innovation & Team Leadership

Champion Generative AI and intelligent automation initiatives that transform creative and production workflows.

Build and mentor a highperforming automation team or manage vendor partnerships to ensure quality delivery.

Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement across functions.

Qualifications & Experience :

B.Tech / B.E. in CS / IT / AI or MBA in Technology / Operations.

5 years’ experience in automation using scripting (Python / JavaScript), and workflow tools. Hands-on with Gen AI.

Strong grasp of pre-media workflows and production efficiency is an added advantage.

Proven ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver measurable outcomes.

Ability to translate business challenges into technology solutions and drive measurable outcomes.
