Job description

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for web-based applications.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and execute testing activities efficiently.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using Perform thorough regression testing to confirm bug fixes and prevent new issues.
  • Track quality assurance metrics such as defect density and open defect counts.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Automate repetitive test cases to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work with CI / CD pipelines to integrate automated tests into the development workflow.
  • Optimize and maintain automation frameworks for better scalability.
  • Stay up to date with new automation tools and industry trends to enhance testing strategies.

Requirements :

  • Graduate degree in a relevant field.
  • Understanding of software testing methodologies (manual and automation).
  • Familiarity with both functional and non-functional testing.
  • Experience with manual testing of web and mobile applications.
  • Strong knowledge of automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Proficiency in writing test scripts using programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
  • Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SQL and database queries.
  • Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
  • Understanding of CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI / CD).

    • Soft Skills :

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Customer-facing experience is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tools and processes.
