Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Noida as the Head of Purchasing. The Head of Purchasing will oversee procurement operations, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the timely sourcing of high-quality raw materials and components. Responsibilities include negotiating supplier contracts, optimizing costs, and implementing procurement strategies aligned with business goals. The role will also involve inventory planning, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving efficiencies within the supply chain. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as production, R&D, and quality assurance to meet operational objectives is a key aspect of this position.

Qualifications

Procurement and Supply Chain Management : Expertise in purchasing, sourcing strategies, vendor management, and supplier negotiations.

Inventory and Operations Planning : Skills in inventory control, demand planning, and coordinating with production for material availability.

Regulatory and Compliance Knowledge : Familiarity with industry regulations, ethical sourcing standards, and sustainable procurement practices.

Stakeholder Collaboration : Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills to work with internal departments and external vendors.

Analytical and Decision-Making Skills : Proficient in data analysis, cost optimization, and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.

Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required. An advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) would be a plus.

Experience : A minimum of 10-15 years in procurement or purchasing leadership roles, preferably in the personal care, cosmetics, or manufacturing industry.

Required Skills & Competencies

Proven experience in strategic sourcing and vendor management within the 3P Manufacturing / personal care / pharma / FMCG industry.

Strong negotiation and cost optimization skills.

Excellent analytical and decision-making ability.

Hands-on experience in ERP systems .

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively across departments.

High integrity , ownership, and business acumen.

Education

Graduate in Science / Commerce / Engineering (preferred : Chemistry / Pharmacy / Cosmetology background).

MBA in Supply Chain / Operations / Materials Management (preferred but not mandatory).
