Job Purpose

The Cluster Head – Print Media will be responsible for driving strategic and revenue growth across the Delhi region for Rajasthan Patrika’s Print vertical. This senior leadership role involves managing and growing a portfolio of key accounts , SMEs , corporate accounts , and retail business by developing focused strategies, mentoring a high-performance sales team, and fostering deep relationships with clients and agencies. The ideal candidate will bring a strong legacy of print media experience, client servicing excellence, and a sharp eye for new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Lead the print media revenue for the Delhi branch by expanding existing client relationships and acquiring new clients across key categories.
  • Drive sales targets across key accounts , corporate clients , SMEs , and retail advertisers .
  • Design and execute customized advertising packages and strategic campaigns aligned with client objectives.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of competitive positioning and proactively pitch Rajasthan Patrika’s unique offerings.

2. Client & Agency Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture long-term partnerships with media buying agencies, corporate houses, and brand managers.
  • Conduct regular review meetings with major clients to understand campaign performance, needs, and areas of improvement.
  • Represent the brand at media forums, industry events, and client briefings.
  • Ensure delivery of committed value to advertisers through coordination with operations and editorial teams.
  • 3. Strategic Planning & Cluster Management

  • Develop annual business plans and quarterly sales forecasts in alignment with company goals.
  • Map market potential in the Delhi NCR region and build area-specific activation strategies.
  • Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to conceptualize campaigns, supplements, and category-specific innovations.
  • Monitor market trends and suggest tactical shifts to capture emerging opportunities.
  • 4. Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of Area Sales Managers, Key Account Executives, and Retail Sales Officers.
  • Set individual and team KPIs; conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Facilitate ongoing training, market exposure, and capability building for the sales team.
  • Encourage collaborative work culture and ensure motivation levels remain high under demanding targets.
  • 5. Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare and present periodic sales reports, revenue dashboards, and opportunity pipelines to regional leadership.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and sales documentation for key accounts.
  • Work closely with editorial, design, billing, and operations teams for seamless execution of campaigns.
  • Desired Profile

    Qualifications :

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication or related fields.
  • Experience :

  • Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in print media sales , with a demonstrated record of revenue ownership.
  • Must have worked with a reputed media house, publication group, or newspaper with a strong presence in Delhi NCR.
  • Experience in handling government advertising and PSU clients is a plus.
  • Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong understanding of print media dynamics, industry pricing, and client behavior.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strategic relationships with senior marketing professionals and agency leaders.
  • Commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and sales analytics.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities to inspire and lead a regional sales team.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :

  • Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Growth in the number of active clients and categories.
  • Retention and upselling to key accounts.
  • Team productivity and sales process adherence.
  • Client satisfaction and campaign execution quality.
