Director - Operations

Job Description

We’re seeking a strategic and execution-driven leader to oversee and scale our operations function from end to end. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, process automation, and team performance across multiple business units, ensuring scalability and consistent delivery quality.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end operational delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, SLAs, and client satisfaction metrics.

Lead and mentor a multi-layered team of managers and specialists, driving high performance and accountability.

Design, implement, and optimize scalable operational frameworks and processes across business functions.

Collaborate with Product, Tech, and Strategy teams to enhance automation, efficiency, and service quality.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, accuracy, and turnaround time.

Establish KPIs, dashboards, and governance mechanisms to monitor operational performance.

Lead new program launches, regional initiatives, and capability-building programs.

Oversee workflow integrations and ensure timely, high-quality project execution.

Partner with leadership to identify growth levers, operational bottlenecks, and strategic expansion opportunities.

Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and data-driven decision-making across teams.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Management, or Operations (Tier 1 institution preferred).

7–11 years of total experience with 4–5 years in leadership roles managing large-scale operations.

Proven record in setting up, scaling, and managing high-performing teams.

Strong business acumen with experience in tech-enabled operations or digital transformation .

Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.

Prior experience in fast-paced startup or growth-stage environments preferred.

Work Timings : Flexible

Reporting To : Founders / Head of Operations.

Role Type : High-visibility position contributing directly to strategic initiatives.
