Role Summary

Role Description

We are in search of a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with a robust background in Python coding, Micro Services, API Design and a profound understanding of machine learning, AI and cloud-based solutions. The perfect fit for this role would be someone who has previously developed or have python applications models deployed to cloud infrastructure.

In the role of a Senior Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in the creation and implementation of state-of-the-art Scalable Python Applications which leverages Generative AI and machine learning technologies. Your duties will encompass the following :

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable backend services using python and related technologies. Implement RESTful APIs, Microservices, and integration with databases and third-party systems.

Experience with Python frameworks (e.g. Django, Flask). Build efficient back-end features in python. Collaborate with UX / UI designers to implement design into the code.

Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.

Work in tandem with data scientists and software engineers to conceptualize and construct data pipelines, preprocessing utilities, and feature engineering systems.

Full responsibility for delivering solutions into production (working through operations teams).

Integrate AI and ML models seamlessly into existing software frameworks and infrastructure.

Make use of cloud platforms, notably Azure, for the deployment and scaling of Python Application.

Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI / CD, Application Resiliency, and Security. Proficient understanding in code versioning tools like Git.

Refine and optimize models to enhance performance and efficiency. Identify and address performance bottlenecks across the application stack. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Engage effectively with diverse teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical strategies.

Mentor and offer technical guidance to less experienced team members.

Core / Must have skills

BS or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems Engineering or Mathematics

8+ years of experience in Python programming for AI / ML development

Strong experience in Python programming for AI / ML development

Proficiency in machine learning algorithms, techniques, and frameworks

Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.

Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms, including machine learning services and tools.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Good to have skills

Proficiency in prompt engineering for machine learning models

Familiarity with Databricks or Azure Machine Learning for scalable data processing and analytics

Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker, for efficient deployment and management of AI / ML solutions
