Role Overview
The City Operations Head will be responsible for leading, managing, and scaling the end-to-end non-clinical operations of Antaras Assisted Care Centres across Bangalore, including Care Homes and Transition Care Centres . The role will ensure operational excellence, customer experience, financial performance, and compliance across all centres, while fostering a culture of service, efficiency, and care.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business & P&L Management
- Own full P&L for the Bangalore Assisted Care business, including revenue, cost, profitability, and ROI.
- Drive business growth, occupancy, and overall financial performance of Care Homes & Transition Care Centres.
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial KPIs to ensure cost-efficient operations.
2. Operations Leadership & Service Excellence
Lead non-clinical operations across multiple Assisted Care Centres.Implement and monitor SOPs, compliance, safety standards, and quality checks to ensure high service standards.Drive end-to-end operational efficiency including facility management, housekeeping, food & catering services, vendor management, and customer support.3. People & Team Management
Lead, coach, and develop multidisciplinary operational teams (Centre Heads, Admin, Facility, Customer Care, Support Staff).Create a high-performance culture with a focus on empathy, accountability, and service excellence.Ensure manpower planning, productivity, training, performance management, and retention.4. Customer & Stakeholder Management
Ensure a superior experience for residents / patients and families throughout their care journey.Act as the escalation point for customer grievances and ensure timely resolution.Manage internal and external stakeholders including medical partners, vendors, community partners, and regulatory bodies.5. Compliance, Governance & Risk Management
Ensure adherence to safety, statutory, legal, and regulatory compliances relevant to healthcare operations.Oversee audits, risk management, process improvements, and business continuity preparedness.6. Growth, Expansion & New Centre Launch Support
Support the scale-up of the Assisted Care business in Bangalore through new centre expansions.Lead pre-launch, launch, and stabilization phases for new centres, ensuring smooth setup and operational readiness.Candidate Requirements
Education : Minimum Graduate (MBA / PG in Hospital / Healthcare Management preferred).Experience :Minimum 10 years of proven experience in hospital / healthcare operations .Must have managed multi-unit or large hospital operations with responsibility for P&L, team management, and service delivery .Strong leadership, planning, customer service, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to manage a diverse workforce with empathy, agility, and operational rigor.Strong analytical, financial acumen, and problem-solving capabilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; regional language knowledge is an added advantage.
