Job Description
The key responsibilities include :
- Team Management :
- Supervise, guide, and motivate a team of area managers and sales executives.
- Conduct joint field work, coaching, and performance reviews.
- Ensure achievement of individual and team targets.
- Sales & Target Achievement :
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Monitor product-wise and territory-wise sales performance.
- Analyze competitor activities and market trends.
- Market Development :
- Identify new business opportunities, doctor conversions, and market gaps.
- Implement marketing and promotional strategies effectively.
- Organize CMEs, doctor meets, and product awareness activities.
- Distribution & Stockist Management :
- Manage relationships with stockists, distributors, and chemists.
- Ensure availability of key products and monitor inventory levels.
- Resolve supply chain or billing issues in coordination with supply / logistics.
- Reporting & Compliance :
- Maintain accurate and timely reports on CRM / sales systems.
- Ensure team adherence to company policies, ethical practices, and compliance norms.
The Successful Applicant
- Education : / / / MBA (Pharma Marketing preferred)
- Experience : 12+ years in pharmaceutical sales with at least 5 years in a team-leading role.
- Therapy Areas : Experience in (, General, Cardio-diabetic, Ortho, Gynae, or relevant formulations segment).
- Skills :
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.
- Good geographical knowledge of the assigned territory.
