Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial and contractual aspects of HVAC projects from pre-contract to post-contract stages. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, quantity take-off, tendering, rate analysis, billing verification, and variation management while ensuring profitability and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Quantity Take-off & Estimation
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from GFC and IFC drawings for HVAC systems (ducting, piping, insulation, and equipment).
Estimate material, labour, and installation costs based on design and specifications.
Support the proposal and tendering team with accurate BOQ and cost estimates.
Prepare rate analysis for new or non-scheduled items and assist in bid preparation.
2. Pre-Contract Activities
Review tender documents, specifications, and scope of work for HVAC systems.
Identify inclusions, exclusions, and commercial risks during bidding.
Assist in vendor quotations and cost benchmarking for equipment and services.
Participate in pre-bid meetings and technical clarifications with consultants or clients.
3. Post-Contract Management
Verify subcontractor and vendor bills against executed quantities and contractual terms.
Prepare Running Account (RA) bills and final bills for submission to clients.
Track and maintain BOQ vs. actual executed quantities, identifying deviations and variations.
Support in preparation of variation claims, change orders, and rate justifications.
Ensure timely submission and certification of bills through proper documentation (MBs, drawings, and reports).
4. Cost Control & Reporting
Maintain cost tracking sheets and support the project team with budget-to-actual analysis.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and support the procurement team in negotiation.
Prepare and submit monthly cost and progress reports (MIS) to management.
Assist in cash flow projections, project forecasting, and profitability analysis.
5. Coordination & Compliance
Coordinate closely with project, design, planning, and procurement teams for technical and commercial alignment.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and auditors for joint measurement and certification.
Ensure adherence to company billing standards, tax formats (GST / TDS), and compliance requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
Education :
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Experience :
4–8 years of relevant experience in HVAC Quantity Surveying, Cost Estimation, or Billing within contracting or EPC environments.
Technical Skills :
Strong understanding of HVAC systems (Chillers, VRF / VRV, AHUs, TFAs, Ducting, Piping, Insulation, Controls).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and costing / billing software (Tally ERP or equivalent).
Familiarity with project contracts, BOQ formats, and standard measurement practices.
Knowledge of IS / ASHRAE standards is an added advantage.

Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Good communication and coordination skills for dealing with clients and internal teams.
Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.
Compensation :
₹3.6 – ₹6.5 LPA (Negotiable based on experience and skillset)
Work Schedule :
Monday to Saturday | Day Shift
Travel to project sites as per requirement
