What is the opportunity? :

Technical Program Manager : Bengaluru, India

Responsibilities

  • Manage technology programs by defining milestones and success criteria, tracking, and successful on-time delivery.
  • Use technical judgment while working with large, cross-functional teams.
  • Develop dashboard, tools and processes to improve software engineering productivity.
  • Communicate schedules, priorities, and status to all levels in the company.

Preferred qualifications :

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects and program management.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle management in a fast-paced software environment with Agile methodology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Proven, tenured experience in the enterprise software market segment.
  • Hands on and “in the weeds” type, with an understanding of how things work and constantly suggesting improvements
  • Ability to use technical judgment to solve software engineering challenges involving bug triage, source control, continuous integration, etc.
  • Proven track record of growing new products into successful businesses, especially for enterprise products ; SaaS experience is a plus
  • Strong technical background in native public cloud, desktop applications ( Windows or macOS), networking, enterprise platforms, applications software space and containers and SDLC
  • Leverage your technical skills to close the communication gap between engineering and the rest of the world
  • Ability to deal with and execute under ambiguity. Ability to be influential on a highly integrated team of technical and non-technical members.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Ability to identify work items dependencies and track the progress with respective teams in a highly collaborative environment by working closely with product management and engineering team.
  • Strong analytical skills and a natural predisposition toward data-driven decision-making. You should nevertheless be able to make reasoned decisions in the face of uncertainty or imperfect data.
  • Experience with commercial and enterprise customers, presenting to C-level executives and passion to evangelize a disruptive new technology.
