Position : Software Engineer – Java Apache Camel

Experience : 4–6 Years

Location : Gurugram (Onsite)

About the Project :

We’re looking for an experienced Java Developer skilled in Quarkus , Apache Camel (Red Hat Fuse) , and Kafka to design and build modern, cloud-native integration solutions.

Role Overview :

As a Software Engineer—Quarkus & Red Hat Fuse Specialist , you’ll design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade integration solutions using Apache Camel , Kafka , and OpenShift . This role combines strong backend engineering with event-driven architecture and CI / CD delivery pipelines.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop scalable, performant microservices using Quarkus .
Design and maintain integration flows and APIs with Red Hat Fuse / Apache Camel.
Build and consume RESTful web services and APIs.
Develop Kafka producers and consumers for real-time event streaming.
Implement best practices in Java coding, unit testing, and documentation .
Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle)—schema design and tuning.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to build CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift (OCP) using containerization (Docker).
Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies , and architectural discussions.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance.
Stay updated with emerging integration and cloud-native technologies.

Required Skills & Experience :

4–6 years of hands-on experience in Java (8+) .

Strong expertise in Quarkus and Apache Camel / Red Hat Fuse .

Proven experience designing and consuming REST APIs .

Hands-on experience with Kafka for event-driven architecture.

Strong SQL and RDBMS background.

Proficiency in CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Deployment experience on OpenShift (OCP) .

Containerization knowledge with Docker .

Familiarity with microservices architecture and agile methodologies.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with Spring Boot or other Java frameworks.

Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana for monitoring.

Familiarity with API security and cloud platforms (Azure / AWS).

Education :

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
