Role Overview

We are seeking energetic individuals to join our passionate team of engineers, builders, and creators, dedicated to a more sustainable food system. Our team includes highly capable graduates and PhDs from prestigious institutions such as IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, TIFR, IISc, and Stanford University.

We need a Process / Production / Operations professional to lead our manufacturing, supervising small-scale production, optimising parameters, and coordinating with R&D. Your contributions will be vital for improving pilot production and scaling to full production.

This rare opportunity offers a chance to work at the intersection of food science, mechanical systems, and deep-tech innovation, scaling one of the world's most advanced food technologies, with potential to grow into a role in our Engineering / R&D team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a production team of 4-5 members, ensuring to-spec, efficient and safe operation of all equipment.
• Own safe, efficient operations : enforce LOTO / PPE / permit-to-work.
• Maintain production schedules, organise workflows, and ensure adherence to SOPs.
• Control the process - monitor critical variables and critical control points, approve in-spec adjustments, hold / release product when needed, and escalate fast.
• Quality & food safety - uphold GMP / HACCP / SOPs, allergen control, sanitation verification, and pre-op inspections
• Continuous improvement - drive OEE / yield improvements and cut waste / scrap through Lean / 5S / visual management.
• Observe, document, and report production behaviour - providing structured feedback to the product and mechanical teams.
• Materials readiness - partner with Procurement to manage inventory.
• Compliance & audits - support internal / external audits (e.g., FSSAI), ensure calibration status and training records are current.
