Synechron is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Node.js Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performing server-side applications and microservices. This role is critical in building resilient backend systems that support core financial and enterprise operations. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in Node.js, modern development practices, and cloud technologies to deliver solutions that meet business objectives, improve system reliability, and enhance user experiences.

About the Role

Notice period- Immediate (Max November joiners)

Exp- SE – 5 to 7 years, SSE – 7 to 10 years

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize scalable, secure, and maintainable backend services and APIs

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, and frontend developers to deliver robust solutions

Establish and enforce best practices for coding, testing, and deployment, including security standards

Implement and manage containerized environments and automate deployment processes

Troubleshoot system issues, analyze performance metrics, and proactively resolve bottlenecks

Contribute to technical documentation, system architecture designs, and coding standards

Keep current with emerging technologies and industry best practices, applying relevant innovations to improve solutions

Support ongoing system improvements and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline; industry experience can supplement formal education

Required Skills

Proficiency in Node.js (latest LTS version preferred) with extensive experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices

Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript (minimum 1 year hands-on experience)

Experience with database management, including relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes

Solid understanding of CI / CD pipelines and automation using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or equivalent

Experience integrating with API gateways (e.g., 3Scale or similar platforms)

Hands-on experience with security protocols including OAuth2, JWT, and implementing token-based authentication

Knowledge of message brokers and streaming platforms such as Kafka, AWS SNS / SQS, or Azure Service Bus

Preferred Skills

Experience working with GraphQL APIs

Familiarity with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)
