Head Human Resources And Talent Acquisition (Consumer Durables)

Responsible for aligning HR functions with business objectives, including talent acquisition, HR operations, employee development, and compliance for the consumer durables industry. Developing and implementing recruitment strategies, managing the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and overseeing performance management, compensation, and benefits. Strategic HR planning, talent management, and a strong understanding of the consumer durables market to attract and retain top talent.

Key responsibilities. :

Strategic leadership and planning :

ü  Align HR strategy with overall business objectives for the consumer durables company.

ü  Collaborate with senior leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.

ü  Utilize data and analytics to measure HR effectiveness and inform strategic decisions.

Talent acquisition and management :

ü  Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent in a competitive market.

ü  Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.

ü  Build and maintain strong talent pipelines and a positive employer brand.

ü  Oversee talent management, succession planning, and performance management systems.

HR operations and compliance :

ü  Draft and implement HR policies and procedures that support business goals and maintain legal compliance.

ü  Oversee HR information systems (HRIS) and ensure data integrity and reporting capabilities.

Employee engagement and development :

ü  Design and implement training and development programs to enhance skills and career growth.

ü  Foster a positive and inclusive company culture that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction.

ü  Manage employee relations and address staff concerns and grievances.

ü  Develop and implement compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and align with business goals.

Qualifications & Experience :

1.      An MBA or PGDM in HR from a reputable institute with 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with a significant portion in a leadership capacity within the consumer durables, electronics, or FMCG sectors.

2.      Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire an HR team.

3.      Strong business acumen and the ability to align HR strategy with company goals.

4.      Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to build relationships with all stakeholders.

5.      Ability to interpret HR data and metrics to drive data-driven decisions.

6.      Strong ability to resolve complex employee relations issues and implement effective solutions.

7.      A deep understanding of the consumer durables market, including talent demands and trends
