Job description5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer with a strong focus on Laravel (PHP 8+). Proven experience with Queues (Redis, SQS, or similar) and Event-driven architecture. Strong expertise in MySQL — complex queries, indexing, partitioning, and performance optimization. Hands-on experience with Firebase Realtime Database and related integrations. Solid understanding of API development, authentication, and data security. Experience with Git, CI / CD pipelines, and deployment workflows. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Experience with Microservices architecture. Familiarity with AWS / Google Cloud. Knowledge of WebSockets, Redis, or real-time notification systems. Competitive salary based on experience. Flexible working hours and environment. We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with deep experience in Laravel and complex system architecture. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of scalable backend development, database optimization, and real-time data systems. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust APIs, managing large datasets, and ensuring high performance and reliability across all backend services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Laravel.
- Work extensively with Laravel Queues, Events, and Jobs to handle asynchronous processes efficiently.
- Optimize and maintain large-scale MySQL databases, including query optimization for millions of records.
- Integrate and manage Firebase Realtime Database for live data synchronization.
- Collaborate closely with front-end and mobile developers to deliver seamless, high-performance applications.
- Implement best practices for code quality, security, and scalability.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of backend services.
- Participate in system architecture planning and contribute to technical decisions.
