Roles and Responsibilities
Design & Development
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, robust, and secure HCM (Human Capital Management) solutions and modules.
Build integrations between HCM systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM) and other enterprise applications.
System Customization & Configuration
Configure and customize HCM platforms to meet business requirements.
Optimize existing functionalities and implement enhancements as needed.
Technical Leadership
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on the HCM team.
Review code, ensure adherence to best practices, and drive high-quality software delivery.
Collaboration
Work closely with HR, product managers, and business analysts to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Partner with IT infrastructure and security teams to ensure compliance and data security standards.
Troubleshooting & Support
Analyze and resolve complex technical issues within HCM systems.
Support system upgrades, patches, and overall maintenance activities.
Performance & Optimization
Conduct system performance analysis and recommend optimizations.
Ensure solutions are scalable and maintainable to support future growth.
Documentation
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specs, configuration guides, and deployment procedures.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Stay updated with new features and trends in HCM technologies.
Recommend and implement improvements to processes, tools, and system architecture.
Key Skills & Requirements
Strong programming skills (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, or language relevant to the HCM platform).
Experience with HCM systems (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar).
Good understanding of HR business processes and workflows.
Expertise in integrations (APIs, middleware, data pipelines).
Solid knowledge of database design and query optimization.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
5–8 years of software development experience, with at least 2–3 years in HCM or HR technology.
