Job Summary The Junior IVF Consultant will support the fertility team in providing high-quality reproductive healthcare services, including patient assessment, treatment planning, IVF procedures, and patient counselling. The role involves working closely with senior consultants, embryologists, nurses, and counsellors to ensure optimal patient outcomes and a seamless clinical experience.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities Conduct initial consultations, patient assessments, and infertility evaluations. Assist in preparing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of senior consultants. Perform or assist in procedures such as follicular monitoring, oocyte retrieval, embryo transfer, and IUI (as applicable by qualification). Review test results, ultrasound scans, and lab reports to guide treatment decisions. Participate in daily IVF rounds and multidisciplinary case discussions. Ensure proper documentation of all clinical activities
Patient Care & Counselling Provide clear explanations of treatment options, procedures, risks, and success rates. Support patients emotionally and medically through the treatment cycle. Maintain regular communication with patients for follow-ups and cycle updates. Coordination & Collaboration Work closely with embryology, nursing, and administrative teams to ensure smooth workflow. Ensure adherence to clinic protocols, ethical guidelines, and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate treatment timelines, cycle planning, and patient scheduling
Quality & Compliance Maintain high standards of patient safety and confidentiality. Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and accreditation processes (NABH / ART regulations, etc.). Ensure accurate data entry in IVF software / EMR systems. Research & Training Stay updated with the latest advancements in reproductive medicine. Assist in clinical studies, documentation, and presentations. Participate in training programs, CMEs, and workshops
Qualifications : Education MBBS + MD / MS / DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology (required). Fellowship or training in Reproductive Medicine / ART preferred.
Experience 2–5 years of experience in infertility / IVF practice (fresh fellows can apply). Hands-on exposure to ultrasound and ART procedures is an advantage. Key Skills Strong clinical knowledge in infertility and reproductive endocrinology. Excellent communication and counselling skills. Ability to work in a high-paced, team-oriented environment. Compassionate and patient-centric approach. Good documentation and EMR proficiency.
Working Conditions Shift-based or fixed working hours as per clinic policy.
Weekend / holiday duties during active treatment cycles (if required).
