As a Software Engineer , you’ll be part of a small, high-impact team where everyone ships production code, debates architecture in Slack threads, and occasionally celebrates deployments with memes. Your work will span APIs, web interfaces, AI integrations, and data pipelines — the real stuff that keeps trucks (and people) moving.

The Hemut Story and a Quick Intro

• Cheema (Founder & CEO) started in trucking at 16 years old as a means to escape homelessness , eventually scaling to management of a 12-truck fleet
• Afterwards, he gained further experience in logistics and international shipping through starting an ethnic grocery store and restaurant
• 6 months ago, Cheema founded Hemut to solve the inefficiencies he faced during his 6 years in trucking with the new AI capabilities that were becoming available
• He sold the restaurant and grocery store to bootstrap Hemut , and gained acceptance into YC with his technical co-founder, Anthony
• Now looking for motivated individuals to grow alongside the company for the next 10 years and make a real impact
