Role Overview :
The Junior Interior Design Coordinator will assist in managing and executing design coordination for an international hospitality project. This role demands a sharp design eye, meticulous organisation, and the ability to interpret and translate global design sensibilities into cohesive project delivery. The ideal candidate should possess a creative alignment with international design languages, a refined aesthetic sensitivity, and a strong understanding of various design schools — enabling them to adapt and appreciate layered, contextual design philosophies.

Key Responsibilities :
1. Design Coordination & Documentation
Support the preparation, review, and organization of architectural and interior design packages (Concept, DD, GFC).
Maintain design trackers, drawing logs, and documentation protocols for seamless cross-team coordination.
Collaborate with consultants and vendors to ensure accurate translation of design intent into production drawings.
Assist in on-site reviews and verify design integrity during execution phases.
2. FF&E Management
Compile and manage FF&E specifications, finishes, and sample libraries.
monitor production and delivery timelines.
Support material research and sourcing aligned with the overall design narrative.
3. Cross-Team Coordination
Facilitate communication between design, architecture, procurement, and project planning teams.
Prepare and circulate meeting notes, track action points, and ensure timely closures.
Assist in bridging discussions between local and international design stakeholders.
4. Quality & Design Integrity
Uphold design quality standards and ensure execution aligns with approved design intent.
Participate in design reviews, site mock-ups, and vendor evaluations to maintain creative and technical consistency.
Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
1–3 years of professional experience in hospitality, commercial, or high-end residential interiors.
Strong understanding of interior detailing, material application, and design documentation.
Excellent communication, coordination, and time management skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign preferred), and MS Office.
Awareness of global design trends and ability to adapt to evolving design philosophies.
