Position Overview :

The Collection Specialist (External) is responsible for identifying and capturing high-value, real-time content from industry events, expert interactions, and entrepreneurial ecosystems. This role involves seizing opportunities to gather compelling video content and producing both short- and long-form content tailored for different platforms. By staying embedded in key networks and industry environments, this position ensures continuous access to trending topics, emerging insights, and influential voices that shape the startup and business landscape.

Key Responsibilities :

• Content Collection & Documentation :
• Identify key industry events, conferences, and forums to collect relevant knowledge and insights.
• Capture video interviews, panel discussions, and expert conversations to create high-impact content.
• Ensure timely and structured documentation of collected data for seamless integration into internal knowledge systems.
• Engagement & Stakeholder Interaction :
• Engage with experts, startups, and business leaders to collect firsthand industry perspectives.
• Build strong relationships with influential voices to facilitate ongoing data collection efforts.
• Act as an on-the-ground representative to capture live insights from entrepreneurial hubs.
• Content Production & Optimization :
• Develop both short-form (reels, snippets) and long-form (feature interviews, reports) content based on collected data.
• Optimize collected content for different platforms, ensuring it is accessible and impactful.
• Collaborate with internal teams to refine and structure content for knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Industry Monitoring & Trend Analysis :
• Stay updated on trending topics, industry developments, and emerging business insights.
• Provide actionable intelligence by analyzing data from various external sources.
• Ensure continuous alignment of collected insights with organizational knowledge objectives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration :
• Work closely with content, research, and AI teams to ensure seamless data integration.
• Share key insights with internal stakeholders to enhance decision-making and strategic planning.
• Support the creation of knowledge assets that enhance Genie AI’s real-time query responses.

n Deep experience in pedagogy and emerging techniques in adult skilling n Experience in the use of technology in large scale skilling efforts n Creation of highly engaging, world-class content for global audiences n Training of relevant teams on content and content delivery n Use of analytical methods to support content development and refinement n Conducting market assessments to identify best practices and gaps n Maintaining a strong network of content professionals to get real-time perspectives on opportunities and solutions Engagement with various stakeholders to learn about unique needs and considerations of sub-segments
