UKG Integration Technical Consultant

We are looking for an experienced UKG Integration Technical Consultant responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between UKG (UltiPro / Pro / Dimensions / Ready) and external systems. The consultant will work closely with business and technical teams to deliver reliable and scalable workforce management and HR integrations. More details as below.

Location : India (Remote)

Shift- Australia (5 am - 2 pm IST - Remote)

Type : Contract ( 3 +3 months, extendable)

Experience : 8+ years

We are seeking an experienced UKG Technical Consultant with strong hands-on skills in UKG Pro, UKG Dimensions, or Workforce Central. The consultant will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting integrations, custom reports, data workflows, and technical configurations within the UKG ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain UKG Pro / Dimensions integrations with HR, payroll, ERP, ATS, and third-party systems.

Utilize UKG APIs, UKG Pro Web Services, Boomi, Mulesoft, Workato , or custom middleware for integration development.

Design and manage data flows using REST / SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, SFTP , and flat-file transfers.

Build custom solutions including :

Interface scripts

Data transformation utilities

Automation workflows

Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures, API errors, and data discrepancies.

Develop technical documents (mapping docs, sequence flows, system design).

Perform unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support.

Collaborate with UKG functional consultants and HR / Payroll stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.

Support security requirements including encryption, authentication, and data compliance.

Required Skills

4–8 years of experience in UKG technical development (UKG Pro, Dimensions, or Workforce Central).

Hands-on experience with :

UKG API / UKG Pro Web Services

Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato , or other iPaaS platforms

REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, OAuth, SFTP

Strong understanding of HR / Payroll data models and workflows.

Advanced knowledge of SQL and data transformation.

Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting).

Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.

Good to Have

Experience in UKG Ready integrations.

Understanding of workforce management (timecards, accruals, scheduling).

Experience working with Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM , or similar HRIS systems.

Cloud experience (AWS / GCP / Azure).

UKG certification(s).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.

Relevant UKG technical certifications preferred.
