Key Roles & Responsibilities :
1. Architecture & Technical Leadership :
- Design and evolve scalable, resilient, and high-performance architectures for telecom-grade applications.
- Define microservices and integration architecture leveraging Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis and Kubernetes.
- Conduct architecture reviews and ensure adherence to enterprise standards and best practices.
- Drive performance optimization, fault tolerance, and scalability initiatives.
2. Product Ownership & Delivery :
Own the entire product lifecycle - from design, development and testing to deployment and support.Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions in collaboration with Product Management.Define and monitor delivery milestones, KPIs and success metrics.Ensure timely and quality-driven releases through strong project governance.Proactively manage technical and delivery risks to ensure customer satisfaction.3. Tender Compliance & Solution Governance :
Lead technical and functional responses for RFPs, RFIs and tenders in coordination with presales and bid teams.Ensure complete compliance with customer tender requirements including architecture, performance, scalability, and security aspects.Participate in solution defence presentations and technical clarifications with customers and partners.Align product capabilities with tender specifications, suggesting enhancements when needed.Maintain a repository of compliance documents, certifications and templates for future tenders.Work closely with the legal and commercial teams to ensure end-to-end bid readiness.4. Team Leadership & Collaboration :
Lead and mentor cross-functional engineering teams (development, QA, DevOps).Ensure effective workload distribution and cross-verification of functionality testing.Drive technical reviews, retrospectives and ensure knowledge sharing across teams.Foster a culture of ownership, accountability and collaboration.5. Quality, Security & Compliance :
Ensure products meet telecom-grade quality, reliability and security standards.Oversee compliance with 3GPP, ISO 27001 and other relevant telecom / IT standards.Drive performance benchmarking and internal audit readiness.What we're looking for :
10-15 years of experience in enterprise software development, including at least 5 years in system architecture or product leadership roles.Telecom Knowledge : Understanding of 3G / 4G and 5G network & 3GPP specifications required for Messaging or PCRF or CCS (Converged Charging System), BSS & Diameter Interfaces.Proficiency in Java or C++ : Strong understanding of Java / C++ programming principles and best practices.Spring Boot : For Java candidates, extensive experience with the Spring Boot framework, including Spring MVC, Spring Data and Spring Cloud.Microservices Architecture : Solid understanding of microservices architecture including design patterns, communication protocols and deployment strategies.Redis : Experience with Redis as a caching layer and data store.Kafka : Experience with Apache Kafka for building event-driven applications and streaming pipelines.Database : Experience with database technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL).Architecture Experience : Proven ability to design and implement scalable and robust architectures.Strong Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to identify, analyse and resolve complex technical issues.Excellent Communication Skills : Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.Teamwork : Ability to collaborate effectively with other developers and stakeholders.Proven experience managing tender responses, solution documentation and compliance mapping.Experience in product engineering and Agile delivery methodologies.Proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade products on schedule with high quality.Good to have :
Exposure to Cloud-native design (AWS, Azure, GCP).Experience with TM Forum APIs, Open Digital Architecture (ODA), or 3GPP compliance frameworks.Knowledge of DevOps pipelines, CI / CD, and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus).Experience in telecom digital transformation projects.Education :
