Junior Research Associate

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Junior Research Associate with a background in Organic Chemistry to join our R&D team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in organic synthesis, compound preparation, and reaction monitoring, and will work closely with senior scientists on various lab-scale research projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform organic synthesis of intermediates and target compounds as per project requirements
• Conduct compounding activities and assist in the monitoring of chemical reactions using TLC, HPLC, GC, etc.
• Carry out reaction work-up, purification (e.g., crystallization, distillation, column chromatography), and isolation of products
• Support in analytical testing and data recording using instruments like IR, NMR, HPLC, GC, and LC-MS
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all experiments in laboratory notebooks or ELNs
• Follow all SOPs, safety guidelines, and GLP / GMP practices strictly
• Assist in troubleshooting experiments and optimizing reaction conditions under supervision
• Coordinate with team members for material requirements and lab inventory management
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments
