Automation Engineer (Test Engineer)

Job descriptionExecute automated test suites for applicable platforms including web, mobile, and API Identify, document, and track bugs using defect management tools. Participate in test planning, estimation, and test case reviews. Enhance testing efficiency by identifying and implementing improvements in test Work closely with the manual testing team to identify test scenarios for automation. Write clear and concise bug reports, and track issues through resolution. Ensure compliance with software testing standards, procedures, and methodologies. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in automation testing. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test script Good understanding of HTML, CSS, DOM, and web debugging tools. Strong knowledge of atleast 1 testing frameworks Experience in API testing using Postman Hands-on experience with version control tools like Git. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience with performance testing tools (like JMeter, LoadRunner). Knowledge of cloud-based test execution platforms (like BrowserStack).
