Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Power Quality Restorer Sales Engineer to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical understanding of Power Quality Restoration Solutions and will be responsible for promoting and selling Power Quality Restoration equipment and services to Indian Railway, Metros and a broad range of industries. This role combines technical expertise with sales skills to build relationships, offer tailored solutions, and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Sales & Business Development :
o Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities within the power quality industry.
o Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
o Understand customer needs and requirements and offer customized power quality restoration solutions.
o Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical proposals.
o Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
2. Technical Expertise & Support :
o Provide expert knowledge of Power Quality Restoration Equipment, solutions, and services, such as harmonic filters, voltage stabilizers, power conditioners, UPS systems, and other power quality products.
o Conduct on-site evaluations, audits, and surveys of client facilities to assess their power quality needs.
o Offer guidance and advice on how power quality issues can be solved with suitable products.
o Provide technical support to customers, addressing their inquiries and assisting with installation or troubleshooting issues.
3. Market Research & Analysis :
o Keep up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive products to identify new opportunities and threats.
o Analyze competitor offerings and create strategies to differentiate the company’s products and services.
4. Customer Training & Education :
o Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers and internal teams to ensure they fully understand the products and services offered.
o Stay informed about the latest technologies and innovations in power quality restoration and share knowledge with customers.
5. Collaboration & Reporting :
o Work closely with the engineering, product management, and marketing teams to ensure the effective promotion and technical presentation of products.
o Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to management.
o Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and seminars to promote products and stay ahead of market trends.
Qualifications :o bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Energy Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
o 10+ years of experience in a sales engineering role within the power quality, electrical or industrial equipment sectors. Preferably 3-5 years in Power Quality Restoration Products.
o Proven track record of sales success, with experience in B2B sales, ideally in the power quality industry or related technical fields.
o In-depth understanding of power quality issues, including harmonics, voltage dips, transients, and electrical noise.
o Familiarity with Power Quality Restoration Products such as harmonic filters, UPS systems, surge protectors, voltage regulators, etc.
o Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
o Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
o Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
o Customer-focused with strong presentation and public speaking skills.
