AI / ML Engineer

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced AI / ML Architect to lead the design and implementation of intelligent solutions for client use cases. The role involves building PoCs and scalable platforms leveraging Computer Vision, OCR, Deep Learning, and Vision-Language Models (VLMs) to automate classification, dumpster overflow detection, and contract data extraction.

Key Responsibilities :

Architect and design AI / ML solutions for detection, contamination identification, and overflow classification using cloud-managed services, CNN models, and VLMs.

Develop OCR and data extraction pipelines for contracts, invoices, and scanned documents using AWS Textract, Mistral OCR, or equivalent frameworks.

Define PoC strategies with three solution approaches :

Managed Services (AWS / Azure / Google Vision, Textract)

Custom Deep Learning & VLM Models (CNN, YOLO, Mask R-CNN, LLaVA, GPT-4V, etc.)

Cordial AI or Domain-Specific AI models

Build scalable pipelines using AWS (S3, Lambda, SageMaker, Step Functions) or equivalent Azure / GCP services.

Drive evaluation metrics (precision, recall, F1 score, OCR accuracy) and define success criteria for PoCs.

Work closely with client operations teams to align AI solutions with business outcomes (reduced manual sorting, faster contract processing, cost optimization)

Required Skills & Experience :

5+ years in AI / ML, with expertise in Computer Vision, OCR, and Deep Learning.

Strong knowledge of CNN architectures (ResNet, EfficientNet, YOLO, Mask R-CNN) and Vision-Language Models (VLMs).

Hands-on experience with OCR frameworks (AWS Textract, Azure Form Recognizer, Google Document AI, Mistral OCR).

Proficiency in Python, PyTorch / TensorFlow, and FastAPI / Flask for AI service development.

Cloud experience in AWS / Azure / GCP AI / ML services.

Familiarity with Vector Databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate) and LLM integration (Bedrock, OpenAI, Hugging Face).

Strong understanding of AI evaluation metrics for classification, detection, and OCR use cases.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
