Members will provide strategic insights, sectoral expertise, and guidance to support the organisation’s mission, programmes, and long-term growth.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Guidance : Offer high-level advice on organisational strategy, programme development, partnerships, and sustainability.Sectoral Expertise : Bring industry / academic knowledge to shape relevant initiatives, curriculum design, research focus areas, and community engagement.Governance Support : Provide perspective on policies, best practices, and ethical frameworks to ensure responsible and transparent operations.Networking & Advocacy : Facilitate connections with key stakeholders—industry leaders, academic institutions, policymakers, and potential partners.Review & Feedback : Assess progress reports, project proposals, and impact assessments; offer constructive recommendations.Meeting Participation : Attend quarterly virtual Board meetings and contribute actively to discussions and decisions.Desired ProfileSenior professionals, leaders, or academics with minimum 10–15 years of expertise in relevant domains such as education, technology, industry sectors, policy, social impact, research, or capacity-building.Demonstrated experience in advisory roles, leadership, or governance bodies is preferred.Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide strategic input.Passion for education, knowledge development, and societal impact.Ability to commit time for meetings and occasional consultations.TermTypically 1–2 years , renewable based on mutual agreement and contributions.Benefits to AdvisorsOpportunity to shape a growing national educational and social-impact platform.Engage with a diverse network of leaders, educators, and innovators.Recognition on Gyan Nidhi’s communication platforms.Honorarium for participation and advisory contributions.Opportunity to influence impactful programmes at regional and national scales.
