About the Role
We are looking for highly motivated Sales Engagement Associates to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in communication, relationship-building, and solution-driven interactions. You will manage the full client lifecycle—from identifying prospects to converting them into long-term partners.
You will work closely with the proposal and project teams to design tailored solutions that align with client needs and AYC’s service capabilities. This role requires a mix of sales strategy, client understanding, and coordination across internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Client Identification & Research
Identify potential clients across target industries and segments.
Conduct background research to understand client operations, challenges, and potential opportunity areas.
Create a structured prospect list with prioritization criteria.
Client Outreach & Engagement
Initiate first-level communication through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking.
Conduct discovery conversations to understand the client’s goals, pain points, and expectations.
Present AYC’s capabilities clearly and persuasively—aligned with client-specific needs.
Solution Mapping & Proposal Alignment
Translate client requirements into actionable insights for the proposal team.
Work closely with the proposal team to design tailored solutions.
Review, refine, and customize proposals to match evolving client needs.
Ensure client objectives are fully addressed through value-driven offerings.
Relationship Management
Serve as the single point of contact for the client throughout the engagement cycle.
Maintain regular communication to update the client, gather feedback, and evolve the proposal.
Build strong, trust-based relationships that support long-term collaboration.
Conversion & Handover
Drive client conversion by ensuring all their concerns are addressed.
Collaborate with project teams to finalize scope, deliverables, and timelines.
Facilitate a smooth handover for project execution once the deal is closed.
Track conversion metrics and hit monthly / quarterly targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
2–3 years of experience in Sales, Client Engagement, Business Development, or Pre-Sales (preferred).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong listening, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to understand and articulate value-driven solutions.
High level of ownership, accountability, and client-centric thinking.
