Research Analyst- Equity

About the client :

Our client is a SEBI-registered Portfolio Management Services (PMS) firm, established in 2011. They cater to the growing need of the high-net-worth investors (individuals, family offices and institutions) globally to invest in the Indian capital markets on a long-term, sustainable basis. The portfolio managers have a combined experience of over 50 years in the capital markets and over 30 years in managing funds and this expertise has been developed over multiple business cycles since 1991. As of May 2025, we manage Rs. 600+ crores in our PMS strategies and advises on another Rs. 450+ crores of assets.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Based in Delhi, the research analyst will work with the portfolio managers and the research team to conduct deep dive research on potential investment opportunities.

Nature of Work :

Developing investment thesis on a particular stock independently

Performing industry analysis (key trends, key players and their competitive strategies, etc.)

Benchmarking of key industry players' main operational performance metrics

Performing financial statement analyses and valuation analyses of companies

Monitoring news, business trends and financial results of the investee companies and its competitors

Meeting companies and their competitors, suppliers, and customers to conduct primary research

Listening to quarterly conference calls, reading annual reports, attending conferences and preparing summary meeting & call notes.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Related work experience of 3-5 years in equity research, preferably buy-side

Self-driven, resourceful, go-getter attitude, with high integrity

Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills

Strong written and spoken communication skills

Bachelors or graduate degree in Economics / Business / Math / Engg

CA and / or CFA will be a definite advantage
