What You Will Do

Primary responsibility will be to work in close alignment and at the direction of the partnership leader to provide necessary support for the partnerships influenced business. This will involve a mix of partnerships with hyper-scalers as well as other partners aligned with Harman’s vertical focus and offerings. You will be working closely with the sales team, delivery teams and technology teams in executing the partnership strategy by co-establishing value propositions, generating pipeline and driving to closure. The ideal candidate will know the competitive landscape of the industry as well as bring experience and contacts into potential partners.

What You Need

  • 10+ years’ experience in working in an IT services companies or product companies in a partnership role.
  • Strong understanding and experience in working in a global / offshore outsourcing business model.
  • Experience in supporting sales teams through the partnership enablement process.
  • Prior experience of having contributed to partnerships in one of the 3 primary cloud providers.
  • Creation and management of funnel through an ecosystem enabled sales process and working with sales to take deals to closure.
  • Excellent customer interface skills – communication & ability to deliver presentation, drive meetings. Develop long term valued relationships with the partner.
  • Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment, work effectively under high pressure, growth mode.
  • Basic understanding of cloud technologies and methods of working with cloud providers.
  • Prior expertise of working in industrial, healthcare, communications is a plus.

What Makes You Eligible

  • Deep understanding of software and technology trends
  • Ability to work with local partners leaders to execute partnership roadmap, account mappings, sales / revenue goals.
  • Prior successful history of generating sales pipeline through thru relationship with partner sales managers in the key responsibility regions.
  • Understanding of the partnerships process at 1 of the 3 of the primary cloud providers.
  • Management of partner portals a must.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple stake holders internally to manage the GTM strategy.
  • Build relationships with internal sales, delivery and support teams.
