Key Responsibilities :

• Managed General Ledger (GL) entries in SAP S / 4HANA, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards and corporate policies.
• Created and processed manual journal entries, and handled automated GL entries triggered by other SAP modules (e.g., Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management).
• Facilitated proper debit and credit postings for GL document entries, ensuring that each transaction followed double-entry accounting principles.
• Allocated GL entries to cost centers and profit centers, supporting detailed financial reporting and business analysis.
• Applied tax codes to GL entries to ensure compliance with local tax regulations (e.g., VAT, GST).
• Collaborated with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, and CO to enable smooth integration and automatic posting of GL entries from business processes.
• Utilized SAP’s document splitting functionality to handle segment-based financial reporting and allocate entries across different organizational units.
• Generated key financial reports such as trial balances, financial statements, and reconciliation reports for month-end and year-end financial closures.
• Supported financial transaction workflows for various business processes, including non-SAP to SAP integrations, bi-directional data flow, and cockpit program development.
