Role Overview
Our client is seeking a seasoned professional to lead family governance, compliance, expense oversight, and risk management for a large multi-unit family office. The role involves ensuring adherence to the Family Constitution and Expense Policy, maintaining transparent reporting, managing audits, and acting as a trusted advisor to the promoter family on governance and compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and audit family, unit-level, and personal expenses as per approved policies.
- Maintain and verify data from multiple internal and external sources;
ensure accurate classification and consolidation.
Prepare structured reports and presentations for Family Units, Owners’ Council, and other governance bodies.Coordinate with external auditors, close audit findings, and maintain high standards of internal controls.Identify and mitigate financial, liquidity, credit, and operational risks .Ensure timely execution of family governance frameworks, including SOPs, compliance requirements, and audit reviews.Collaborate with legal, secretarial, finance and external consultants on trust structures, shareholder agreements, and governance matters.Manage special assignments related to family office operations and governance.Skills & Experience Required
CA + CS qualification is mandatory.20–25 years of experience in Finance, Accounts, Audit, Compliance, or Governance in large corporates or financial institutions.Strong exposure to internal controls, regulatory frameworks, and audit protocols.Excellent analytical mindset with experience in data consolidation, risk identification, and financial governance.Preferred exposure to trust structures, shareholder agreements, corporate law, and SEBI / FEMA / Companies Act regulations .High integrity, strong communication skills, and ability to work closely with promoter families.
