Role Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive

Ocean Freight Pricing & Documentation Executive

to join our team in Navi Mumbai.

This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for managing ocean freight rate procurement, handling export / import documentation, coordinating with carriers and overseas partners, and ensuring timely and accurate execution of all pricing and documentation tasks.

The ideal candidate will support the commercial and operations team by providing competitive pricing, maintaining documentation accuracy, and ensuring smooth shipment handling.

Key Responsibilities

Obtain ocean freight rates from carriers, co-loaders, NVOCCs, and overseas agents

Prepare competitive quotations for sales and customers

Maintain updated rate sheets, tariffs, and pricing records

Prepare and verify export / import shipping documents (BL drafts, invoices, packing lists, etc.)

Coordinate with shipping lines, CHA, and internal teams for booking and documentation

Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, Incoterms, and customer requirements

Track shipments and provide status updates to concerned teams

Maintain strong communication with customers and agents to ensure smooth operations

Support the operations team in resolving documentation or pricing issues

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in ocean freight pricing and / or export-import documentation

Strong understanding of ocean freight processes, carrier tariffs, and shipping documentation

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Proficiency in MS Excel and basic logistics software / tools

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Experience in freight forwarding or logistics industry is

mandatory

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field preferred
