Job description

Job Title : Associate - In-House Family Office.

Location : Bangalore

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented fresher to join our in-house family office as an Associate. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in personal finance, taxation, and international finance to learn and grow within a dynamic and challenging environment. You will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning and management of an ultra-high-net-worth individual and their family. This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for research and a desire to learn new things quickly.

Responsibilities :

  • Research and analyse tax implications in India and overseas of various financial activities.
  • Research and analyse impact / requirements of economic laws on transactions proposed to be undertaken by the office.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of personal financial plans, including budgeting, investment tracking, and goal setting.
  • Support tax planning and compliance, including preparing and filing tax returns, and staying up-to-date on tax law changes.
  • Facilitate foreign remittances, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Conduct research on various financial products, investment strategies, and regulatory changes.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation related to financial planning, tax, and investment activities.
  • Collaborate with external advisors such as accountants, lawyers, and investment managers.
  • Maintain Books of Accounts of the members of family office.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications :

  • Chartered Accountant with 0-1 year of post-qualification experience.
  • Skills Required :

  • Demonstrated interest in personal finance, investments, taxation including international taxation.
  • Knowledge of Indian tax and economic laws and regulations.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
