Job descriptionEducation : B.E. / B. Tech / M. Tech in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed institute. Experience : 5–8 years of experience in Java backend development with at least 1–2 years in a lead or senior role. Strong knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Boot, and RESTful services. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms. Hands-on experience with MySQL including schema design and query optimization. Familiar with version control (Git) and build tools (Maven / Gradle). Exposure to Docker, AWS, or similar technologies is an advantage. Good understanding of software design principles and performance considerations.
About the role :
Lead the design and hands-on development of backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and MySQL. The role involves owning modules end-to-end — from requirement analysis to production delivery — with focus on quality, performance, and reliability.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct technical assessments (e.g., VRA, security checklists) required by new BFSI clients.
- Design and develop backend components and REST APIs using Spring Boot.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Java code.
- Design database schemas and write optimized SQL queries in MySQL.
- Review code and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Work with QA, DevOps, and Product teams to deliver stable releases.
- Troubleshoot issues in development and production environments.
- Mentor junior developers and help improve overall code quality.
