POSITION SUMMARY
The Banquet Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales, maximizing revenue, and ensuring a seamless booking experience for clients. This role involves handling banquet inquiries, client negotiations, event planning coordination, and maintaining strong relationships with corporate and social clients to position the venue as a preferred choice for premium and luxury events.
ESSENTIAL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Sales & Business Development
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.Identify new business opportunities, including corporate events, weddings, social gatherings, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions).Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, wedding planners, and travel agents.Conduct sales calls, site inspections, and client meetings to promote banquet offerings.Negotiate contracts, pricing, and packages to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.Client Relationship Management
Provide personalized service and consultation to clients, understanding their event requirements and customizing solutions.Maintain ongoing communication with clients from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.Address and resolve client concerns or special requests with a customer-first approach.Event Planning & Coordination
Work closely with the banquet operations and culinary teams to ensure seamless execution of events.Assist in menu planning, seating arrangements, and event logistics in alignment with client expectations.Ensure all contractual obligations are met, including deposits, final payments, and event schedules.Marketing & Brand Positioning
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies, offers, and campaigns.Represent the banquet venue at industry events, exhibitions, and networking platforms.Maintain a strong online and offline presence to attract high-profile clientele.Revenue Management & Reporting
Track and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to senior management.Ensure adherence to budgeted revenue and profitability goals.
