A progressive healthcare provider operating in the tertiary-care Gastroenterology & Hepatology sector in India, focused on delivering comprehensive digestive-health services. We provide endoscopy-led diagnostics, inpatient and outpatient care, and multidisciplinary management for complex GI and liver conditions using modern clinical protocols and an outcomes-first approach.

Role Title

Consultant Gastroenterologist (On-site)

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology care : evaluate, diagnose, and manage common and complex GI and hepatology conditions (IBD, liver disease, pancreato-biliary disorders, GI bleeding).
• Perform and document endoscopic procedures including diagnostic upper GI endoscopy (OGD), colonoscopy, polypectomy and endoscopic hemostasis; lead advanced procedures (ERCP / EUS) where credentialed.
• Lead acute-care responses for GI emergencies (upper / lower GI bleed), participate in on-call rota and ensure adherence to sedation and procedural safety protocols.
• Work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams—coordinate care with surgery, radiology, hepatology, nutrition and nursing to optimise patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation, contribute to clinical audit, quality improvement, infection-control protocols and endoscopy-suite governance.
• Supervise and mentor junior doctors, nursing staff and trainees; participate in departmental teaching, CME and protocol development.
