Job role- Estimation engineer (COMMERCIAL INTERIORS)

Budget - Upto 10 LPA

Job description-

• Prepare estimation for interior fit-out projects.
• must be from commercial interior background.
• Develop bills of quantities.
• Evaluate and adjudicate contractor's claims (measurement).
• Handle estimating and cost control.
• Manage the full tender process.
• Interpret specifications, price tenders, and prepare contract documents.
• Review drawings, tender documents, quantities, and estimates.
• Supervise and interpret third-party surveys.
• Verify subcontractor claims and Quantity Surveyor's calculations regarding site progress and materials.
• Manage and supervise the Tender / Quantity Surveyor Department, including workload planning and programming.
• Maintain supplier / subcontractor database and continuously identify new companies for pre-qualification.
• Develop bid cost estimates within specified deadlines.
• Manage the bid calendar to ensure compliance with commitments.
• Review and comment on technical and commercial specifications.
• Prepare material take-offs for purchasing to obtain market pricing.
• Coordinate with the Production department.
• Establish and periodically review Estimating Policies and Procedures.
• Ensure retention of bid documents / technical specifications as per company policy.
• Work with sales to prioritize and review the Bid Calendar for timely bid submissions.
