Position : Senior Android Developer

Location : Noida

Job Type : Full-Time (Onsite)

Experience Required : 5+ years in Android development

About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Android Developer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly Android applications. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining mobile applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using the latest frameworks and technologies.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to define application features and requirements.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.
Integrate third-party APIs, libraries, and services to enhance application functionality.
Optimize applications for maximum performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve application performance and reliability.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Android development and implement them as needed.
Ensure compatibility of applications across multiple devices and screen sizes.
Mentor and guide junior developers, conducting code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience of 5+ years in Android application development.

Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android development.

Hands-on experience with Android SDK, Jetpack Components, and Android Studio.

Proficiency in RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party API integrations.

Experience with version control systems like Git.

Solid understanding of design patterns, MVVM / MVP architecture, and modular development.

Knowledge of Google Play Store deployment, including app signing, submission, and publishing.

Familiarity with performance optimization tools like Android Profiler.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with Reactive Programming frameworks (e.g., RxJava, Kotlin Coroutines).

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

Knowledge of Firebase services (Crashlytics, Analytics, Push Notifications).

Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.

Prior experience in leading Android projects or mentoring developers.

Published apps on the Google Play Store with a significant number of downloads.
