Job description

The Store Officer will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient store management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory control and a passion for delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and report discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely deliveries.
  • Maintain organized storage of products and supplies.
  • Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and requisitions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support.
  • Train and supervise junior staff in store operations.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in inventory management or store operations.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
