The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes. IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.
In this role, you will work as an Operation Support Specialist in the new Global S4 HANA team within our strategic ERP Transformation Organization. You will join an international company with a rich history, comprising many divisions and subsidiaries worldwide. Together, we embark on an exciting journey to optimize our company using the SAP S / 4 HANA application in a private cloud environment.
You will collaborate with colleagues from different regions, lead meetings, and take responsibility for the SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) workstream.
Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable :
- EWM stream
- Ability to demonstrate S / 4 HANA processes in Extended Warehouse Management
- Experience in EWM implementation and customizing
- Experience in key integration areas of supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing
- Experience in S4 Conversion, workflow, interfaces, and EDI
- Supporting break / fix activities with the operations team
- Working in an international team using collaboration tools to function as a cohesive Operations team
- Conducting working sessions with business users to clarify requirements or troubleshoot issues
- Researching and applying OSS notes to resolve issues
- Utilizing Corning’s ITSM-related applications like ServiceNow, Teams, SharePoint, SAP ChaRM
- Participating in an on-call rotation to support the team / organization and meet SLA commitments defined by IT and agreed upon by the organization
- Developing documentation and testing procedures, and performing knowledge-sharing sessions with the operations team
Education & Experience :
3+ years of experience with SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP S / 4Proficiency in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Architecture Knowledge, and Technical Solution DesignExcellent communication and written skills to aid in RICEF creation and design document creationIn-depth knowledge of SAP best practicesRequired Skills :
