Job Summary
- The Role holder is accountable for maintaining end to end risk management of EMEA region on specific to Recon related governance and to work for the reconciliation betterment.
Strategy
The person will be responsible for overseeing the reconciliation processes of EMEA , ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role involves risk management and adherence to regulatory and business conduct standards. Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive initiatives to optimize operational efficiency.Business
Align reconciliation activities with overall business objectives and strategic goals. Ensure all reconciliation activities comply with internal policies and external regulations. Oversee the end-to-end reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy and timelinessProcesses
Reconciliation related enhanced control review to be done independently by referring the TLM / relevant application / documentNostro, Sundry & Suspense outstanding and transaction workflow to be reviewed for better process motionTPGL & Integrity exception resolution to be investigated & work with technology / Finance team to have permanent fixAll Hubbing activities from Country to GBS to be supported with effective alignmentFor SOM Migration, work along with Country & GBS to retrieve the break up for the balances and best process design to be implemented in the automated platformAll the non-migrated account list of WRB to be reviewed and verified with relevant team ownership, if any correction in ownership, to be reported and amendedCheck relevant system level access are available to verify the control points independently (Eg. TLM / EBBS / PSGL etc)All Risk level submission to be done independently, eg BRF / NFRFAll FCS submission for EMEA countries to be tagged to right RP and to be approved on time without any deviationMonthly Dashboard to be circulated on the status & progress of the EMEA countriesExit Market control to be reviewed basis the frequency and necessary steps to be taken if any exception were identifiedAll submission & reporting to be done on the allocated timeline without any gapEnsure all the Enhanced Control points were reviewed as per the frequency and also check in case of any additional control points to be added in order to mitigate the riskMatrix level RP & Escalation recipients of EMEA countries to be reviewed on Half Yearly basis and if in case of any correction then it needs to be reported for immediate actionValidate all the process adhered as per the Group Policy, if in case of deviation to be reported and work with relevant team till resolutionIn country recon and GRU break details to be referred through the mail sent across on BI weekly basis and all the open items to be reviewed whether the item is at Risk or not and to be reported to Respective Country Head & BRM Head & Risk & WRB EMEA HeadTimely discussion should have conducted with GBS / Country / GRU to resolve the challenges and all necessary action plan should be tracked till the closureDormant account monitoring to be done to ensure any transactions are getting processed and if there are any, get relevant document from Country and verifyAct as a lead and ensure all the things are in right track, if not take initiative to get things to have in right trackEffective time management to ensure the review is conducted in agreed timeline and exceptions are reported is due course.Excellent business writing skills and in-depth process and system knowledge across WRB.
