Finance PMO Specialist Finance PMO (Operations & Reporting)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and process-driven Finance PMO (Program Management Office) professional to support the business unit (BU) and delivery operations in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
This role is central to ensuring financial health, compliance, and operational efficiency across projects.
The individual will be responsible for meticulous tracking of project profitability, utilization, timesheets, and invoicing reconciliation, providing critical data and insights to BU and delivery heads for strategic decision-making.
Primary Responsibility & Core Functions (Operations / PMO R&R)
Financial Reporting and Analysis (MIS & Profitability) :
- Lead the preparation and analysis for monthly MIS (Management Information System), including the creation of presentation decks for meetings, and suggesting actionable process improvements.
- Track and report on project level profitability, with data collection on a weekly basis, consolidated into a fortnightly report for business unit heads.
- Prepare and finalize detailed worksheets and data packs for weekly profitability reviews and discussions.
- Track and report on Group cost / SBU bench cost tracking / HR-HCM tracking on a weekly basis.
- Conduct analysis of Leave loss data and patterns to provide inputs for budget tracking cycles.
Compliance and Contract Management :
Conduct Fixed price projects data tracking sheet review and sign-off (covering data collection and finalizing the tracker).Manage Kytes compliance regarding data entry and validity (tasks, timesheet elements, etc.Conduct checks and reviews for Direct Margin approvals / work orders, maintaining an SLA of 1 working day for processing.Track SOWs for expirations on a weekly basis, providing timely reminders to the SBU heads.Manage Bill rate increase reminders, tracking the last increase date and implementing annual reminders.Record and track all action items arising from profitability and operational reviews.Operational Reporting and Reconciliation :
Provide comprehensive Operations assistance to the BU heads / Delivery Partner by supplying data and reports, including Timesheets & Invoicing reconciliation.Enforce weekly timesheet tracking and maintain the monthly utilization sheet for the entire BU.Prepare the Billing leakage report (identifying discrepancies like leaves in customer systems versus no leave record in HR systems).Maintain and manage the Rate card and revisions, tracking average profitability at a resource level.Track and report on Onsite DM / GM tracking on a monthly basis.Required Skills & Acumen : Strong background in financial analysis, reporting, and tracking complex business metrics like profitability, direct margin, and utilization.
Data Management : Proven ability to manage large datasets for reconciliation (Timesheets, Invoicing) and reporting (MIS, Profitability tracking).
Compliance & Process : Experience managing compliance checks (SOWs, Fixed Price trackers) and adhering to strict SLAs (e.
Tools Proficiency : Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables) for data analysis and worksheet Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting analysis decks and providing clear reminders to senior stakeholders (BU Heads, SBU Heads).
Preferred Skills
